General information

Innosei® CD is an aqueous solution of Chlorhexidine Digluconate and provides excellent antimicrobial properties. It is not only used as an active ingredient in the disinfectants and mouthwash, but also used as a preservative in the cosmetic products. It is free of CMR and could be a good alternative to triclosan.

Application

  • Innosei® CD is typically used within a concentration of 0.5-1.5% and could be used in various products: skin care, mouthwashes, hair care and etc.
  • Innosei® CD is effective within a pH range of 5 to 8 and at a temperature up to 80°C.
  • Innosei® CD cannot be used with anionic ingredients due to its cationic property. However, it is compatible with most of common preservative actives.
